🎬 Family, Adventure, Comedy | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Walt Becker
🎭 Cast: Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, John CleeseOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3/5It’s a simple movie, and it doesn’t try to be anything else. I actually appreciated that. There’s a lot of heart here, and while the CGI gets weird sometimes, it never gets in the way of the story. I’d call it a solid family film. Kids will love it, and adults probably won’t mind sitting through it either.

The Snake
HuluTV Series | Jun 11, 2025
In this reality competition series hosted by Jim Jefferies, fifteen contestants from professions that rely on charm and persuasion are thrown into a high-stakes social game. Competing for a $100,000 prize, they must build alliances, manipulate rivals, and outwit each other through a series of strategic challenges. At the end of each round, one player is secretly named “The Snake,” gaining the power to influence who stays and who goes. With deception and trust constantly in play, no one is safe for long.
🎬 Reality, Thriller | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: SallyAnn Salsano
🎭 Cast: Jim JefferiesOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3.5/5After the success of The Traitors, you can tell every network wants their own hit. This could be it. The idea of using trained persuaders is a smart twist, and Jim Jefferies brings the perfect dry bite to it all. Personally, I’m looking forward to watching the lies pile up. It’s shaping up to be chaotic, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Gran Turismo
HuluMovie | Jun 11, 2025
Inspired by a true story, this film follows Jann Mardenborough, a teenager whose skill in the Gran Turismo video game unexpectedly propels him into the world of professional racing. Despite doubts from critics and the pressure of real-world competition, Jann turns virtual practice into real-life performance on the track. His journey from gamer to elite driver is filled with obstacles and triumphs, showcasing how passion and determination can turn even the most unlikely dreams into reality.
🎬 Action, Sport, Drama, Biography | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Neill Blomkamp
🎭 Cast: Archie Madekwe, David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, Djimon HounsouOur Take
★★★★☆ 4/5This movie had no business being this good. What starts as a video game adaptation turns into a proper sports drama that’s actually thrilling and, yeah, surprisingly emotional. David Harbour steals every scene, and the racing feels visceral in the best way. For me, it’s worth watching just for the sound design alone. That part really stuck with me.

The 1% Club: Season 2
HuluTV Series | Jun 12, 2025
In this fast-paced game show, one hundred contestants face off in a series of questions that challenge logic, reasoning, and common sense. Each question is based on real data about what percentage of Americans answered correctly, with difficulty increasing over time. The goal is to solve the kinds of problems that only one percent of the population can figure out. Those who make it to the end have a shot at winning up to $100,000, but only the sharpest minds will make it that far.
🎬 Reality | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Carrie Havel
🎭 Cast: Joel McHaleOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3.5/5This one’s a nice break from the usual trivia game shows. The focus on logic puzzles and common sense questions makes it way more fun to play along with. I’ve got to say, Joel McHale fits this format way better than Patton Oswalt did in season one. His dry energy gives the whole thing more bite, and for me, that shift made all the difference.

Atsuko Okatsuka: Father
HuluSpecial | Jun 13, 2025
In this lively stand-up special, Atsuko Okatsuka shares her offbeat reflections on life, from going seven years without doing laundry to discovering that a marriage license comes before the wedding itself. With her trademark deadpan delivery and quirky charm, she explores the contrast between professional success and personal cluelessness. Whether tackling the absurdities of adulthood or her own role as the responsible one in the family, Atsuko delivers laughs with wit, warmth, and a fresh point of view.
🎬 Comedy | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Ryan Harper Gray
🎭 Cast: Atsuko OkatsukaOur Take
★★★★☆ 4/5Atsuko’s humor is always offbeat in the best way, but what makes this special stand out is how deeply personal it is. She pulls laughs from some tough family memories, and somehow it never feels bitter. I honestly think she’s one of the most distinctive voices in comedy right now. There’s nobody else quite like her.

Absolution
HuluMovie | Jun 13, 2025
An aging mobster attempts to rebuild bridges with the children he pushed away years ago, hoping to leave his violent past behind. But walking away from the life is never easy. As old enemies and unfinished business resurface, he finds himself pulled back into the criminal world he’s trying to escape. With danger mounting and time running out, his search for redemption becomes a battle for survival, testing whether a second chance is ever truly possible.
🎬 Drama, Crime, Thriller, Mystery | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Hans Petter Moland
🎭 Cast: Liam Neeson, Ron Perlman, Yolonda Ross, Daniel Diemer, Frankie Shaw, Jimmy GonzalesOur Take
★★☆☆☆ 2/5I wanted to like this more than I did. I respect the effort to give Liam Neeson something moodier and more introspective, but for me, the whole thing drags. It’s slow without being meaningful, and the story never really goes anywhere. If you’re expecting classic Neeson action, this isn’t it. But even as a drama, it didn’t land for me.

HuluTV Series | Jun 14, 2025
In this emotionally charged reality series, international couples reunite in the United States under the K-1 visa program, which gives them just 90 days to get married or say goodbye. Season 5 follows a new set of couples facing the pressures of blending cultures, learning new languages, and overcoming the doubts of family and friends. As the clock ticks down, each pair must confront whether love is strong enough to build a life together—or if their differences will drive them apart.
🎬 Reality, Romance, Drama | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Kyle Hamley
🎭 Cast: David Toborowsky, Annie SuwanOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3.5/5If you’re into reality TV at all, this season is kind of legendary. This is where the show really figured itself out. The couples are unforgettable in the most chaotic way, and the drama is nonstop. Personally, I think season five is essential viewing if you want to understand how this franchise became what it is now.

90 Day Fiancé UK: Complete Season 2
HuluTV Series | Jun 14, 2025
Love gets tested across borders in the second season of this UK edition of the popular reality series. British citizens and their overseas partners reunite under intense conditions, grappling with cultural misunderstandings, visa complications, and skeptical families. With only a limited window to decide whether to marry, these couples must face difficult truths and big decisions. Season 2 introduces a fresh lineup of hopeful romantics, each navigating the high stakes of international love.
🎬 Reality, Romance, Drama | 📍 United Kingdom | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Murray Boland, Dermot Caulfield, Danielle Lux, Emma Jones
🎭 Cast: UnknownOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3/5The UK version takes the same wild setup and gives it a gentler twist. I like that. The British cast brings a sort of dry, deadpan charm that plays really differently from the American version. It’s still messy, of course, but there’s something more grounded about it. I found it oddly soothing, in its own awkward way.

Guy's Grocery Games: Complete Seasons 32 & 33
HuluTV Series | Jun 14, 2025
Hosted by Guy Fieri, this fast-paced cooking competition transforms a grocery store into the ultimate culinary battleground. Each episode, four chefs face off in Flavortown Market, where they must shop, cook, and improvise under unpredictable rules and time limits. From budget challenges to ingredient restrictions, no two rounds are ever the same. Seasons 32 and 33 bring fresh faces and even more inventive twists, all judged by a panel of expert chefs who know exactly what it takes to win.
🎬 Reality | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: J. Rupert Thompson
🎭 Cast: Guy FieriOur Take
★★★☆☆ 3/5There’s a reason this show keeps going after so many seasons. The formula just works. Guy Fieri brings the same high energy every time, and the challenges are still creative enough to stay fun. For me, it’s the perfect background show. Low stakes, easy to follow, and oddly comforting. I always end up watching more episodes than I meant to.

I'd Kill For You: Complete Season 3
HuluTV Series | Jun 14, 2025
This true-crime docuseries examines chilling cases where love turns lethal. Each episode focuses on a real-life murder committed with intent and calculation, often involving women who use charm, manipulation, or romantic entanglements to achieve deadly ends. With gripping re-enactments and expert insights, the series uncovers the hidden motivations behind these crimes and explores how passion, jealousy, and betrayal can push people beyond the edge.
🎬 Documentary, Crime, Mystery, Thriller | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Knute Walker
🎭 Cast: Quinton FlynnOur Take
★★☆☆☆ 2.5/5This one fits right into the typical true crime mold. The cases are interesting enough, but the reenactments feel a little outdated to me. I usually prefer a more documentary-style approach, something that feels a bit more grounded. Fans of the genre will probably still enjoy it, but personally, I didn’t find much that made it stand out.

Joel McHale: Live from Pyongyang
HuluSpecial | Jun 14, 2025
In this no-holds-barred comedy special, Joel McHale delivers his signature blend of sarcasm, self-deprecation, and social commentary. From bizarre personal stories like feeding alligators to sharp jabs at pop culture, McHale keeps the audience laughing throughout. Though the title teases a different setting, the show was filmed in San Jose, where McHale’s quick wit and playful energy are fully on display.
🎬 Comedy | 📍 United States | 🗣️ English
🎥 Directed by: Brian Volk-Weiss
🎭 Cast: Joel McHaleOur Take
★★☆☆☆ 2.5/5As someone who loved Joel on Community and The Soup, I was hoping this would really land. It doesn’t quite. The tone is familiar, and the delivery is solid, but a lot of the material feels recycled or too safe. It’s fine if you’re already a fan and just want to hang out in his voice for an hour, but I don’t think it holds up as a great stand-up special on its own.
